Are there any other costs for this club?
Yes. We wish there weren't but right now there will be dues of $10 per month once your daughter officially becomes a Blossom. These costs will help things such as outings, t-shirts and other special garments, birthday celebrations and will also go to wards our anual Spring Ball! I mean think about it, only $120 per year and your daughter gets to have fun and learn and be positively impacted!
Where and how often will Blossoms meet?
We accept Blossoms from all over the Bay Area. So we know that there is a wide range of travel in between. So, we would like to move around our meetings, which will be bi-monthly to begin. We will also have outings that can be anywhere the group decides.
Why is there such a long process to becoming a Blossom?
It really isn't that hard. However, we have come up with a process that gurantees we have girls that really want to be a Blossom and really want to try hard to be a positive role model to her peers. We also want to elimate those that just want something to do. Blossoms is about more than that. By having a process, we will not only get serious inquiries, but we will get serious potential Blossoms.
Can I come to the meetings and outings?
If you're a mom, we actually encourage you to be apart too! There's nothing better than a young girl having the support of her mother. We gladly accept you as a Rose(what we call our mommys). You can play important roles such as treasury, event planning, hosting and more. Just let us know you're interested and we'll tell you how you can help! Isn't that awesome?!
How can I be sure my daughter will be safe?
Those who volunteer are mommy's and the founders have very clean backgrounds, well their mom does. The founders are only 9&11. Go figure!
